The initial appointment is around 1 hour and 15 minutes. This gives plenty of time to have a relaxed consultation, discuss all relevant aspects and decide on a treatment plan going forward. 

Positive Change Health is partnered with Semble medical software. Semble’s built-in security features are designed to ensure the highest level of protection for your clinical data  

You are welcome to bring an adult companion to your consultation should you wish. If you prefer your companion to wait outside, we have a small waiting area, where they can sit. To respect the privacy and comfort of our other clients we politely request that that you bring no more than one person to accompany or wait with you at any time. 

At Positive Change Health, we are committed to provide high-quality, expert healthcare and to do so we need to have a cancellation policy in place. We hope you understand the need for this; if appointments are cancelled or rescheduled at short notice, we are unable to use that time for other patients waiting for appointments.  

If you are unable to attend an appointment already scheduled, please do try to give us as much notice as possible. We are happy to cancel and reschedule appointments at any time. There will be a charge depending on the time of cancellation.  

• In the event we receive less than 48 hours notice of cancellation, this occurs a 100% cancellation charge.  
• Rescheduling an appointment more than 48 hours in advance of the appointment date does not incur a fee. 

We are able to issue private prescriptions via a regulated online pharmacy. They will arrange delivery to your home. If you would prefer we can print a prescription for you to have dispensed at a local pharmacy. 

As the prescriptions are not NHS prescriptions you will be charged a dispensing fee and the cost of the medications. 

If you would like an NHS prescription we will write to your NHS GP with our treatment recommendations.  

After the initial 3-month period, private prescriptions incur a charge of £50 for a prescription and 15-minute telephone review.

Positive Change Health are partnered with Randox Health for blood testing services. 

Blood tests require to be sent to the lab for processing and reporting. Once the report is received back at Positive Change Health, it will be assessed and reported back to you via email with relevant comments. This process may take up to 7 days.
