My name is Kate. I’m a feisty, fun-loving, forty-something woman, experiencing my menopause journey right alongside you.
I am married, a Mum of three teens and tweens and a dog mum to a West Highland Terrier called Hamish. I love to travel, I love to learn and I am an advocate of personal development work and mindfulness practices.
I am a Pharmacist Prescriber with over 20 years of experience working in the NHS. I know my stuff when it comes to medicines – when we need them and just as importantly, when we don’t.
I have spent the last few years specialising in the area of menopause care and I am a member of the British Menopause Society.
As a woman in midlife, I have a deep understanding of the physiological and psychological aspects of menopause. I am passionate about using my knowledge and skills to empower women to navigate the complexities of this transformative stage in their lives, with confidence and vitality.
Why I Created Positive Change Health
While seeking out help for my own menopause symptoms, I became aware of the lack of knowledge and expertise within this area and the disparities of care and treatment options faced by many women. Women want and deserve more.
I decided to set up Positive Change Health to give women the option of having ‘more’
By establishing a private clinic, I can offer a comprehensive and personalised healthcare assessment beyond what is currently accessible via the NHS, I can provide longer appointment times, access to a wider range of treatment options and a more tailored approach to individual health needs.
My aim is to offer women a higher level of care, convenience, and satisfaction in managing their health and well-being.
